WOMP 2023 Coming Soon!

Women’s Outreach Mentorship Program (WOMP) beginning in Spring, 2023!!!

Changing Tides Foundation (CTF) empowers women to protect the planet and promotes inclusivity in the ocean and beyond. It was an idea born from female surfers, committed to protecting the places we play. We believe that by educating our youth, especially young ladies, about the struggles our planet faces, we are helping to shape the new generation of environmental activists. Through WOMP the CTF team works with underserved teen girls in North County to break down barriers to access and use the ocean and using surfing as a tool for empowerment and environmental education, as well as teaching them about body positivity, menstrual health, using surfing as therapy and more. We are at the intersection of empowerment, environment and equity and there is such a need for feminine perspectives in this space. We are proud to be an inclusive voice for individual action creating collective change. 

In 2022, WOMP was a huge success serving nearly 30 underserved teenage girls in North County San Diego and offering volunteer opportunities for over 30 surfers and volunteers around the community.  Help us expand our program in 2023 by making a tax deductible donation to Changing Tides Foundation, WOMP 2023.
